Chinese medicine has been practiced for more than 2000 years and is the traditional approach for treating all diseases in China. If body and mind are in a balanced state, the Qi can flow freely and the organs fulfill their tasks. Constitutional weaknesses, genetical predispositions, accidents, lifestyle and environmental influences are etiological factors that can lead to the manifestation of disease in the body.
During the anamnesis the entire human being is evaluated holistically, tongue and pulse diagnosis provide insights into the performance of particular organs. The therapist conducts a multilevel analysis from which a complex diagnosis emerges.
Based in Örebro, I treat my patients using acupuncture, cupping, gua sha and moxibustion. Thereby various sorts of accumulation, stagnation or emptiness are eliminated from the patient’s organs or meridians. Dietary counseling usually plays a major role in longterm health maintenance.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture has a proud history of thousands of years, providing it with an abundance of experience. A thin needle activates an acupuncture point which reestablishes the body’s overall balance. Usually I choose up to ten acupuncture points, whose combined stimulation expands the range of therapeutic impacts. I always carefully take into account my patient’s individual constitu tion and pain threshold.
Acupuncture enables me to treat the root cause of a disease, while alleviating acute symptoms in addition.
Diet
According to the Chinese nutrition science every patient needs a different diet, depending on their individual constitution. The ideal combination of carbohydrates, vegetables and proteins varies individually – one man’s meat is another man’s poison. While I advise some of my patients to eliminate milk from their diet, others might need to increase their consumption of milk products.
I happily design personalized hand outs listing appropriate nutritional items.
Indications
Under German law a person who acquired the title Heilpraktiker has the permission to treat anything that is not covered by the so-called German Protection against Infection Act, Midwifery Law or dentistry. As a matter of course due dilligence still applies to a Heilpraktiker’s services. A correct alleopathic diagnosis has to be made for transferal to a conventional doctor where required. Chinese medicine is based on a holistic approach to healing and can be effective in treating most diseases – no matter if chronic, acute or autoimmune.
You can find a list of indications for acupuncture that was published by the World Health Organization (WHO) here.

Private health insurances often cover the costs. Invoices are based on the official scale of charges for Heilpraktiker and the following fees:
